Tasks of the simulator process resistance welding control of the
PRC7000 series:
• Simulation of the %I via power on switch
• control, regulation and monitoring of all programmed welding sche­
dules
• Communication with devices via I/O connection (e.g. robot, PLC,
operator panel).
Purpose: integration of the product into the automation process.
• Communication with line PC and mobile devices
Purpose: programming, display of status/messages/errors, logging,
operation.
In addition to various timer types that can be mainly distinguished by
their I/O connection to the host PLC/robot unit and the timer functio­
nality simulated.
Therefore additional documents exist for each timer type which de­
scribe the type-specific weld timer functionality.

a robot) and projection welding.
