Replacement in special cases

The replacement of components is reserved to authorisized staff
(trained maintenance staff or field service). For further instructions refer
to chapter 11.Dismantling and replacement.
Inappropriate use of the SD-card!
Damage of the SD-card possible!
The SD-card will only be used in PRC7000 devices.

After replacement of a PRC7000 simulator please open the cover at the
top right (refer to Fig.3 Interfaces PRC7000 simulator and XGSD1
Connector SD-card page 178) and remove the SD-card from the old
device.
The old SD card has to be pressed first and then pushed out carefully.
Then install the SD-card in the replacement device.
If, in the case of repair, the SD card has been taken from the defective­
timer and placed in the replacement PRC7000 simulator, it is necessary
to save the backup, protocol and log files during the first run of the re­
placement timer and send them and the timer to be repaired to

After replacement of a PRC7000 simulator it is necessary to load the
customer­specific parameters. Replacement of the SD card is sufficient
as a rule.
The customer has to save his customer specific data by himself. Bosch
Rexroth does not assume any responsibility for the loss of data and any
consequent damage.
The customer order at DC-IA/SVF4 a replacement component and
send back parallel the defect part. Therefore the customer has to send
the serial number of the defect part to SVF4. A corresponding timer will
be prepared and delivered to the customer.
