7.2 Gobo exchange

To open the P7 on the correct side
put it on a rigid board, have a look,
that the display looks to you (1), the
tilt lock is on the right side (2) and the
head of the P7 looks from you away (3).
To open the head turn the three
screws (4) 1/2 turn left, open the cov-
er and dismount the internal safe-
ty lock. Now open the two knurled
screws (5) push the focus slide to-
wards the lens and remove the gobo
module. Following picture shows the
gobo module.

7.3 Gobo size

If you want to order custom made glass gobos, have a look at the technical diagram.

The gobos are fixed by means of a spring. To ex-
change a gobo pull out the spring by using a pointed
tool an remove the gobo out of the holder. Insert the
new gobo and readjust the spring to fix the gobo.
For metal gobos make sure that the black coated
side of gobo looks to the objective and for glass
gobos make sure that the coated side is also po-
sitioned in direction of the objective. Gobos which
are not intended to rotate , for example, logos, we
recommend against turning to secure this addition
with a drop silicone.
