Troubleshooting

In the event your Jacuzzi
it should, please first review all the installation and operating
instructions in this manual and check the message on the pan-
el display. If you are still not satisfied it is working properly,
please follow the appropriate troubleshooting instructions.
NONE OF THE COMPONENTS OPERATE
(i.e. pump, light)
Check the control panel lights.

If there are letters or symbols displayed on the screen, refer to the
previous section to determine meaning and action required.
I
If nothing appears on the display:
- Check the household circuit breaker.
- Contact dealer or authorized service center.
THE PUMP IS NOT WORKING EVEN IF THE CORRE-
SPONDING ICON ON THE DISPLAY IS ON
Press the JETS key:

If no sound is detected or if a buzzing sound is is detected,
turn off power to the spa and contact your dealer or authorized
service center.

If motor operates but no water flows to jets:
- Pump may not be properly primed. See instructions below.
- Contact dealer or authorized service center.
Pump priming instructions:
TURN SPA OFF
- Turn off the power to the spa.
- Remove the knob of the selector of the type of massage which
is fed by the pump that you want to prime.
- Loosen the valve cap slightly (counter clockwise), listening for
the air to seep out.
- Tighten the cap, put the knob back in place, and turn the spa's
power back on.
N.B.: this method must be used for the pumps that supply the
various jets because they are not connected to the filter.
CAUTION: If freezing conditions exist and pump is not oper-
ational, take measures to protect the system from freeze dam-
age. See "Winterizing".
POOR JET ACTION.

Make sure the pump is active.

Check the position of the selectors of the type of massage.

Open air control
I
Check for proper water level.
I
Check that the filter cartridges are not dirty.
WATER IS TOO HOT.
I
Reduce temperature setting.
I
Set "Economy" filtering/heating mode, so that the heater is
activated only during filtering.
FILTER/CIRCULATIONPUMP OFF
I
Verify filter/circulation pump is programmed to run 24-hours
a day.
I
Filter/circulation pump cycle cancelled due to power outage.
Wait 24-hours for hot tub to reset.
I
Hot tub water is warmer than 35°C and two degrees warmer
than the set temperature. The "summer logic" safety feature has
activated.
Refer to the respective chapter.
Water is too cold
I
Check temperature setting.
I
Keep the spa cover in place while heating.
I
If "heater on" indicator is lit, but no temperature rise is expe-
rienced after a reasonable period of time, contact your dealer or
authorized service center.
Should checking the above steps fail to correct the problem,
please call an autorized dealer or service center.
