6.2 Mise en marche et arrêt du moteur et de la lame de
coupe
- Avant de mettre en marche le moteur, assurez-vous que la lame est
convenablement montée et correctement serrée. La lame de coupe
est en liaison directe avec le moteur et tourne dès sa mise en marche.
- Ne démarrez pas le moteur lorsque la lame de coupe est en contact
direct avec de l'herbe longue et non coupée car ceci pourrait causer
des difficultés au démarrage. Ne soulevez jamais votre tondeuse - mul-
cheuse lors de la mise en marche, ni pendant la rotation de la lame de
coupe. Maintenez tou jours les pieds éloignés de la lame de coupe.
- Ouvrez le robinet d'essence et attendez quelques instants avant
d'actionner 3 fois le Primer (poire d'amorçage).
- Placez-vous derrière le guidon (fig.6 page 19).
- Amenez la manette de gaz sur la position " MAXI ".
- Relevez l'arceau de maintien de la commande de sécurité (fig.7 p 19).
- Appliquez le levier d'armement de la commande de sécurité (fig.8 p 19).
- Rabattez l'arceau sur le guidon en maintenant le levier d'armement
en application (fig.9 page 19).
- Mettez en marche le moteur en tirant sur la poignée de lanceur. (fig
5a et 9 p 19) Raccompagnez la poignée de lanceur vers son support
au guidon. Laissez toujours la poignée de lanceur dans son support.
6.2 Starten und Stoppen des Motors und des
Schnittmessers
- Bevor Sie den Motor starten überprüfen Sie, ob das Messer richtig
eingebaut und befestigt ist. Das Schnittmesser steht in direkter
Verbindung mit dem Motor und dreht sich, sobald der Motor
gestartet wurde.
- Starten Sie den Motor nicht, wenn das Schnittmesser langes, nich
geschnittenes Gras berührt. Dies könnte zu Startschwierigkeiten
führen. Heben Sie Ihren Mulchmäher während des Startvorgangs
niemals an und auch nicht, solange sich das Messer dreht. Halten Sie
stets Ihre Füße vom Schnittmesser fern.
- Öffnen Sie den Benzinhahn und warten Sie einen Moment, bevor Sie
den Primer 3 mal tätigen.
- Stellen Sie sich hinter die Lenkstange (abb. 6, Seite 19)
- Stellen Sie den Gashebel auf " MAXI ".
- Nehmen Sie den Haltebügel der Sicherheitsschaltung auf (abb.7,
Seite 19).
- Tätigen Sie den Anschalthebel der Sicherheitsschaltung (Abb.8, Seite 19).
- Klappen Sie den Bügel an die Lenkstange, wobei Sie den
Anschalthebel gespannt halten (Abb.9, Seite 19).
6.2 Starting and stopping the engine and the cutting blade
- Before starting the engine, ensure that the blade is correctly
tightened. The cutting blade is linked directly to the engine and
starts to rotate as soon as the engine is started.
- Do not start the engine when the cutting blade is in contact with
long, uncut grass as this would cause difficulties when starting. Never
lift your mulching mower when starting it or when the cutting blade
is rotating. Always keep your feet well away from the cutting blade.
- Open the fuel cock and wait a few moments before activating the
primer three times.
- Stand behind the handlebar (fig.6, page 19).
- Move the throttle lever to the "MAXI" position.
- Lift the holding bar of the safety control (fig.7, page 19).
- Apply the arming lever of the safety control (fig.8 page 19).
- Pull the bar up against the handlebar whilst holding the arming lever
in its place (fig.9 page 19).
- Start the engine by pulling the starter handle. (fig.5a and 9 page19)
Accompany the starter handle towards its rest on the handlebar.
Always leave the starter handle in its rest.
The engine and the cutting blade start up simultaneously.

Pour la mise à l'arrêt du moteur et de la lame de coupe, amenez la
manette de gaz sur la position " STOP ", puis relâchez l'arceau de
maintien de la commande de sécurité. Le moteur et la lame de coupe
sont mis à l'arrêt et freinés.
- Refermez le robinet d'essence.
6.3 Commande d'avance et sélection de la vitesse d'avance.
- Pour avancer, appliquez l'arceau de commande d'avance
franchement contre le guidon.
- Pour débrayer l'avance, relâchez l'action sur l'arceau de commande.
- Pour changer de vitesse d'avance, débrayez l'avance, puis amenez le
levier du sélecteur de vitesses à la hauteur du numéro correspondant
à la vitesse choisie (1, 2 ou 3).
- Sélectionnez la vitesse lente (1) si les conditions de tonte l'exigent :
herbe haute, dense ou mouillée ou terrain en pente.
- Choisissez une vitesse plus rapide (2) ou (3) si les conditions de tonte
le permettent : herbe sèche, ni trop haute ni trop dense et terrain
plat.
- Starten Sie den Motor, indem Sie am Anlassergriff ziehen. (Abb.5a
und 9, Seite 19) Führen Sie den Anlassergriff an seine Halterung an
der Lenkstange. Lassen Sie den Anlassergriff in dieser Halterung.
Der Motor und das Schnittmesser werden gleichzeitig
gestartet.
Um den Motor und das Schnittmesser zu stoppen stellen Sie
den Gashebel auf " STOP ", lassen Sie dann den Haltebügel der
Sicherheitsschaltung los. Motor und Schnittmesser werden
abgebremst und gestoppt.
- Schließen Sie den Benzinhahn.
6.3 Schaltantrieb und Gangschaltung.
- Für den Vorwärtsgang drücken Sie den Bedienbügel des
Schaltantriebs einfach gegen die Lenkstange.
- Um den Vorwärtsgang auszukuppeln lassen die den Bedienbügel los.
- Wenn Sie den Gang wechseln möchten, kuppeln Sie den
Vorwärtsgang aus und stellen Sie den Ganghebel auf die Zahl des
gewünschten Gangs (1,2 oder 3).
- Wählen Sie den kleinsten Gang (1) wenn dieSchnittbedingungen dies
erfordern: hohes, dichtes Gras, nasses Gras oder Abhänge.
To stop the engine and the cutting blade, move the gas lever to the
"STOP" position, then release the holding bar. The engine and cutting
blade are stopped and braked.
- Close the fuel cock.
6.3 Drive control and selection of the forward speed.
- To drive the mower, apply the forward control bar against the
handlebar.
- To disengage the drive, release the control bar.
- To change drive speed, disengage the drive, then move the speed
selector lever opposite number corresponding to the speed chosen
(1, 2 or 3).
- Select the slowest peed (1) if the mowing conditions require it : long,
dense or wet grass or sloping ground.
- Choose the faster speeds (2) or (3) if the mowing conditions allow it :
dry grass, not too long or dense, and flat ground.
