11.
WARRANTY
1.
For those of our deliveries which are intended for non-corrosive gases, we will guarantee
the tightness and perfect functioning of all part, as well as perfect materials, for a period of
12 months from dispatch. The condition for our warranty is that our operating instructions
were followed and that there was no improper outside intervention.
2.
For those of our deliveries which are intended for corrosive gases, we will guarantee
the perfect functioning of all parts, perfect materials and the corrosion resistance of the
parts in contact with the medium for a period of 6 months from dispatch. The condition for
our warranty is that our operating instructions were followed, that there was no improper
outside intervention and/or inexpert treatment with humid gases and that our product was
specifically delivered for this gas type and the specific operating conditions.

Our liability will be limited in any case, at our option, to rectification or the delivery of a brand
new replacement part. If the rectification or substitute delivery fails, the customer will be
entitled to demand rescission of the contract or a lowering of the consideration.
4.
Warranty claims of the customer under Section 3 will become statute-barred 6 months after
receipt by us of the prompt notification of defect, but no later than 12 months from delivery,
irrespective of whether and when the defect was discovered.
5.
The customer must allow us the necessary time and occasion to carry out all necessary
measures within the scope of our warranty obligations. Only if we default in the fulfilment
of our obligations shall the customer have the right to remedy the defect himself or have it
remedied by third parties and to demand the reimbursement of his costs insofar as these
are reasonable.
6.
For rectifications or substitute deliveries effected by us, we will be liable to the same extent
as for the object of delivery. The warranty period will begin on the day of the rectification or
dispatch of the substitute part.
7.
In the case of substitute delivery, we will bear the costs of dispatch. Items which are the
object of complaint must be returned to us.
8.
Claims by the customer for compensation, including those for the making good of losses
which did not occur to the delivered item itself, are excluded. This also applies for claims
arising from the violation of foreign technical and safety regulations known to us. However,
we will be liable for compensation if items delivered by us are lacking characteristics which
we have warranted in the contract, or if the loss is traced .
