3.21 GAS SUITABILITY
Note the colour coding of the handwheels. These
have been colour coded in accordance with DIN 12920
according to the type of gas to be used. Use only fittings
whose colour coding in the handwheel corresponds to
the type of gas you are using!
Below is a summary of the gas suitability of the DruVa LabSystem.

3.22 IDENTIFICATION
There is a rating plate as wel l as colour coding on the handwheel:
Typ: EMD 400-01
Mat: Ms / Ni / PVDF
Pin: 40 bar
Pout: 0,5 - 10 bar
The rating plates have the following markings:
manufacturer, date of manufacture (95.10. = October 1995),
prepressure (pin). device-specific back pressure range (pout). materials of pressure reducing
chamber (Ms = brass I ES =special steel, surface coating (Ni = nickel for brass housing and seat seal
(PVD, FKM/FFKM [fibre-reinforced plastic). PCTFE). safety information and the permitted type of gas.
The va lves also have a marking showing the direction of flow of the gas (input to output marked
with an arrow) The seria l number, which is specific to the device, is shown on a separate plate in
barcode 128 and in clear text.Barcode 128 und in Klarschrift angegeben.
Use the fittings only in the pressure range indicated and only for the permitted type of
gas!
