FOREWORD
The DruVa LabSystem marks a new concept in the supply of ultra-pure gas to the laboratory. It offers
the following advantages: great functional benefit, ease of handling, safe installation, unambiguous
operation, few components. These facts show why the LabSystem is so widely used, not only in the
laboratory equipment sector but also in automotive engineering, medicine, pharmacy, chemistry,
plant construction, environmental protection as well as in various branches of science and research.
Assemble your ultra-pure gas supply yourself! You can easily change or add on the variable
components later.
The following basic components can be assembled in the modular system: bleed pressure reducer
EMD 400, shutoff valves MVA 400 G and MVA 400 W, wall shutoff valve MVA 400 W 00 and control
valve MVR 400 W.
Many fittings, such as volumeter SVM 400, flame arrester FS 400, angle adapter ZB 400, wall, reducing
and mounting adapters in various designs, spacers for adapting to different fitting conditions,
threaded joints, manometers, standards and many other parts are also available. The LabSystem can
thus be integrated into the laboratory equipment of all major manufacturers.
These operating instructions will help you familiarize yourself with the DruVa LabSystem.
Please read the safety information!
Abbreviations used:
SW - size of jaw, ES - special steel design, MS - brass design, MS (Ni) - nickel-plated brass).

BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION
3.1 INFORMATION IN THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
These operating instructions contain the most important information on how to operate the pressure
unit safely. The safety information must be observed by all persons working with the fittings.
The rules and regulations for the prevention of accidents applying at the place of use must also be
observed.
3.2 OBLIGATIONS ON THE OWNER
The owner must undertake only to let those persons work with the pressure unit who
•
are familiar with the basic regulations concerning occupational safety and the prevention of
accidents and have constant access to these regulations,
•
have read and understood the chapter on safety and the warnings in these operating
instructions and
