Dynamic hip orthosis for treating post-
operative instability after hip TEP:
The DynaCox
Your physician has prescribed a DynaCox hip
orthosis for you. The DynaCox is a dynamic
hip orthosis, which significantly reduces the
danger of a luxation (dislocation of joint). It
will be hardly visible under your clothes and
does not restrict muscular activity.
The DynaCox Orthosis is not an "off the
shelf" product, but will rather be individually
adjusted to your body by your trusted ortho-
paedic technician.
Before using this device an individual
adaptation of the DynaCox and a familiari-
sation with its use by an orthopaedic techni-
cian according to the medical instructions is
essential.
An inappropriate size selection or neglect
of the individual adjustment as well as insuf-
ficient monitoring may strongly compromise
the success of the therapy. (There may be no
luxation prophylaxis.)
Never wear the orthosis directly on
bruised skin.
