Output signals

11.1 Switching outputs

The AS 3000 IO-Link has 2 switching outputs whose switching behaviour (window mode or
two-point mode) is parameterisable.
In addition to the IO-Link Smart Sensor Profile Specification, a switch and switch-back delay
can be set in HYDAC IO-Link sensors.
ATTENTION
Exceeding or falling below the measuring range leads to a limitation
to the corresponding upper or lower limit of the measuring range.

11.1.1 Two-point mode - Switch point setting (SP)

One switch point and one switch-back point can be set for each switching output. The
particular output will switch when the pre-set switch point is reached and then switch back
when the level drops below the switch-back point.
Example for switch point 1 (N/C and N/O function):

It is only possible to set the switch point (SP) if it is higher than the
respective switch-back point (RP).

11.1.2 Window mode - Window function setting (Fno / Fnc)

The window function enables monitoring of a particular range. An upper and a lower switch
point which defines the range can be assigned to each switching output.
