Function
The main switch is located on
the back of the machine.
Starts the cutting or grinding
process according to the pre-set
method. The recirculation water,
if selected, is turned on.
Stops the cutting or grinding
process. The recirculation water,
if selected, is turned off.
Controls for various purposes.
See the bottom of the individual
screens.
Scrolls up () or down () in the
menu tree structure of Accutom-
50. When setting a parameter
the value is increased () or
decreased ( ).
Selects a marked parameter
value or chooses a menu.

Function
Leaves the present menu or
specimen holder position screen.
Changes to POSITION menu or
moves the specimen holder to
the left in the X-direction in steps
of 100 µm. Keep the key pressed
to increase the speed.
Changes to POSITION menu or
moves the specimen holder to
the right in the X-direction in
steps of 100 µm. Keep the key
pressed to increase the speed.
Changes to POSITION menu or
moves the specimen holder slowly
to the left in the X-direction in
steps of 5 µm. Keep the key
pressed to increase the speed.
Changes to POSITION menu or
moves the specimen holder slowly
to the right in the X-direction in
steps of 5 µm. Keep the key
pressed to increase the speed.
Changes to POSITION menu or
moves the specimen holder up- or
downwards in the Y-direction in
steps of 100 µm. Keep the key
pressed to increase the speed.
