3.Preparation pour une premiere mise en

- 2 Centering rings DN 10 KF (Cat. No. 183 21) for con-
necting the vacuum gauge (15)
- 2 Tension rings DN 10/16 KF (Cat. No. 183 41) for con-
necting the vacuum gauge (15)
/ Put the basic unit (1) on a table or on a trolley (52) (Cat.
No. 045 50).
Note:
The unit must, stand freely on all sides (leave a space of
at least 10 cm to the left and to the right of the unit) to
insure proper air circulation.
Avoid direct sunlight on the condenser coils (19) or too
high an ambient temperature either of which could im-
pair the refrigerating capacity considerably.
3.2.2
Setting Up the TRIVAC D 4 B or D 8 B Vacuum
Pump (16)
/ Unpack the TRIVAC D 4 B (Cat. No. 112 45) or the
TRIVAC D 8 B (Cat. No. 112 55) vacuum pump (16).
It is also possible to use other vacuum pumps provided
they have comparable technical properties.
/ Check the scope of delivery of the vacuum pump (16)
which includes the following:
- 1 TRIVAC D 4 B or D 8 B (16) with electric connecting
cable
- 1 Operating manual for the TRIVAC D 4 B or D 8 B.
y Set up the vacuum pump (16) either on the lowest shelf
of the trolley (52) or on the floor.
Note:
Be sure to follow the instructions given in the operating
manual of the vacuum pump.
3.2.3
Connecting an Exhaust Filter Type AF 4-8 (17)
or an Exhaust Filter with Oil Return Type
AR4-8
/ Unpack the AF 4-8 (Cat. No. 189 06) exhaust filter (17)
or the AR 4-8 (Cat. No. 189 20).
/ Check the scope of delivery of the exhaust filter (17)
which includes the following:
- 1 AF4-8orAR4-8(17)
- 1 Operating manual for the AF 4-8 or AR 4-8.
Disposer Pappareil de base sur une table ou sur un chariot
de laboratoire (042 50)
Remarque importanle :
Afin de permcttre une ventilation efficace du groupe
frigorifique, il est recommande de laisser au moins 10
cm d'espace libre de chaque cute de l'appareil.
II faut egalement eviter d'installer l'appareil
a) dans une zone balayee directement par les rayons
solaires
b) dans un local a temperature elevee car cela reduirait
la puissance frigorifique de l'appareil.
3.2.2.
Installation de la pompe a vide TRIVAC D 4 B
ouD,8B
• Deballer la pompe a vide (16) TRIVAC D4B (cat n°
112 45) ou TRIVAC D 8 B (cat n° 112 55).
Remarque: d'autres pompes a vide peuvent etre adaptee
sur notre appareil a condition que les donnees technique
soient identiques.
/ Controle de livraison de la pompe a vide :
- 1 TRIVAC D 4 B/D 8 B avec cordon de raccordement
electrique
- 1 mode d'emploi TRIVAC D 4 B/D 8 B
/ Installer la pompe a vide (soit a cote de l'appareil, soit
sur le chariot de laboratoire)
Attention:
Bien lire le mode d'emploi de la pompe a vide avant de
l'utiliser.
3.2.3.
Monter le filtre d'echappement AF 4/8 ou le
filtre d'echappement avec retour d'huile AR 4-8
/ Deballer le filtre d'echappement (17) AF 4/8 (cat n°
189 06) ou AR 4-8 (cat n° 189 20)
/ Contrule de livraison du filtre d'echappement
- 1 AF 4-8 ou AR 4-8
- 1 mode d'emploi AF 4/8 ou AR 4/8
/ Monter le filtre d'echappement a la bride d'echappe-
ment de la pompe a vide
