Mounting the Manifold for Freeze-Drying
(Fig. 2)
Note:
Make sure all the sealing surfaces are perfectly clean
before beginning with assembly of the components.
/ Unpack the 440 acrylic glass cylinder (10) (Cat. No.
045 67).
/ Place an L seal (24) (Cat. No. 045 58) around the rim of
the acrylic glass cylinder (10) that is not indented.
/ Place the indented rim of the acrylic glass cylinder (10)
on the condenser coils (19) of the basic unit (1) and
press firmly over the O-ring (21) of the base plate.
/ Unpack the manifold plate (12) (Cat. No. 045 70).
/ Connect the valves (23) to the pipe ends of the manifold
plate (12).
/ Clean the sealing surfaces of the manifold plate and pla-
ce the manifold plate on the acrylic glass cylinder (10).
/ Close all the valves (23) of the manifold plate.
- The valves have been provided with adapters to permit
connection of round bulbs with a ground neck of NS
29/32.
- It is also possible to use ampoule connectors (Cat. No.
043 23) to permit drying samples in ampoules (see, too,
Point 9.4, page 35).
- Each of the valves (23) can be vented individually.
/ Connect the THERMO VAC TM 201 vacuum gauge
(15).
a) Place the DN 10 KF centering ring (Cat. No. 183 21)
in the gauge connection of the manifold plate.
b) Put the gauge tube or the pipe bend in place.
c) Put the DN 10/16 KF tension ring (Cat. No. 183 41)
around the connection and tighten firmly by hand.
3.3.
Installation d'un appareil avec disque special
pour ballons (fig. 2)
Attention !
Avant d'assembler tous les composants, veillez a ce
que toutes les surfaces et joints soient propres.
/ Deballer le cylindre Acrylglass 440 mm (10) (cat n°
045 67)
/ Disposez un joint en L (24) (cat n° 045 58) sur Fun des
bords du cylindre (partie superieure du cylindre)
/ Ensuite l'autre bord est enfonce dans la partie inferieu-
re du condenseur (19), la rainure est constitute
lateralement d'un joint torique rond.
BIEN ENFONCER le cylindre (leger coup vers le bas)
afin d'eviter toute fuite.
/ Deballer le disque special avec robinets (12) (cat n°
045 70)
/ Placer les robinets (23) sur les embouts du disque
/ Placer ce disque munis de robinets sur le bord
superieur du cylindre en Acrylglass.
«/ Toutes les vannes du disque doivent etre fermees
- Les robinets sont munis d'un embout conique special
NS 29/32
- Si vous voulez sublimer des ampoules, vous pouvez
utiliser un accessoire supplemental (cat n° 043 23)
- embout pour 5 ampoules (voir pt. 9.4, p. 35).
- Chaque vanne peut remettre a l'air separement son bal-
lon.
/ Placer le capteur de mesure de vide TM 201 (15)
a) Placer l'anneau de centrage DN 10 KF (cat n°183 21)
dans la bride de mesure de vide situee sur le couvercle
a robinets.
b) Placer le capteur de mesure de vide.
c) Fixer les deux brides avec collier de serrage
DN 10/16 KF (cat n° 183 41).
