Note:
Even if the SET PRESSURE button is not pressed
again, it will switch over again to displaying the actual
pressure after 10 seconds.
If the actual pressure in the chamber is greater than the set
value, the regulating valve between the vacuum pump and
the condenser is opened.
O The LED in the SET PRESSURE area (47) indicates
this status.
Note:
The set pressure can only be reached provided the fol-
lowing conditions are given:
- The product was frozen down to a low enough tempe-
rature.
- The supply of heat to the product corresponds to the
sublimation heat for the desired ice temperature.
ATTENTION:
Make sure to check the pressure set value before each
freeze-drying cycle. The values given for the preceding
cycle are stored in the unit.

Setting a Temperature Set Value for the Shelf
Heating (48)
The shelf temperature can be set as follows:
/ Press the DISPLAY TEMP button (44) until the actual
shelf temperature is displayed (e.g. 18°C).
O The LED in the SHELF area lights up.
/ Press the SET TEMP button (48).
O The temperature display (43) begins to blink. The
temperature set value which was last set appears (e.g.
15°C).
/ Using the UP and DOWN buttons (49) (arrows pointing
up or down), any desired temperature from -99° to
+99°C can be selected (e.g. +30°C).
O The desired temperature that was set blinks in the dis-
play (43).
S Press the SET TEMP button (48) again.
O The actual temperature again appears in the display
(43).
Note:
Even if the SET TEMP button (48) is not pressed again,
the display (43) will switch over to displaying the actual
values again after 10 seconds, provided no further chan-
ges in the set values are made.
If the set temperature is higher than the actual tem-
perature of the shelves, the shelf heating is switched on.
O The LED in the SET TEMP area lights up to indi-
cate this status.
Si la pression regnant dans la chambre de dessiccation est
superieure a la pression de consigne, la vanne de regulati-
on entre la pompe a vide et condenseur reste ouverte.
O Le LED ,,SET PRESSURE" l'indique et est eclaire.
Remarques:
La pression de consigne peut etre atteinte quand:
- le produit est congele a la temperature la plus bassc
- l'apport de chaleur du produit correspond a la chalcur
de sublimation et a la temperature de glace souhaitee.

Attention:
Controler la pression dc consigne pour chaque lyophi-
lisation sur la base des resultats des essais precedents.
6.9.
Etablissement d'une consigne de temperature
des plateaux chauffants (48)
La temperature de consigne des plateaux de chargement
peut etre etablie de la fa£on suivante.
/ Appuyer sur la touche ,,DISPLAY TEMP"(44), jusqu'a
ce que 1'indication ,,SHELF" apparaisse.
O La touche LED s'allume.
• Appuyer sur la touche ,,SET TEMP" (48).
O L'indication de temperature (43) clignote et indique la
derniere consigne programmee.
</ Avec les touches ,,plus grand et plus petit" on peut eta-
blir la valeur de consigne souhaitee et ce de -99°C a +
99°C.
O Lorsqu'elle est choisie, celle-ci clignote toujours au
display.
/ Ensuite, appuyer sur ,,SET TEMP" (48) et la tempera-
ture actuelle des plateaux revient au display (43).
Remarque:
Si la temperature de consigne est superieure a la
temperature reelle, le chauffage des plateaux s'eteint.
La lumiere du LED ,,SET TEMP" s'eclaire.
