Cleaning

DANGER!
Danger of death by electrocution.
Before cleaning the microwave,
always disconnect the mains plug
from the socket.
Never immerse the microwave in
water.
CAUTION!
Danger of burns from the hot
microwave.
Allow the microwave to cool down
before cleaning.
Attention!
Possible damage to the microwave.
Never use chemical cleaning agents, petrol,
oven cleaner or abrasive or scouring agents.

Cleaning the oven compartment

Clean the oven compartment of the microwave
regularly.
Wipe off splashes and spilt liquids in the oven
compartment with a moist cloth.
For more heavy soiling use a mild cleaning
agent.
To protect the upper surfaces do not use any
aggressive cleaning agents such as cream
cleaners.
Clean the oven window from the inside with a
moist cloth.
Clean the door seals regularly with a moist cloth.

Cleaning the housing

To avoid inadvertently switching on the microwave:
Open the door.
or
Pull out the plug.
Clean the programme selection switch and the
timer using a damp cloth.
Clean the microwave housing regularly with a
moist cloth.
Ensure that no water penetrates through the
vents in the housing into the inside of the
microwave.

Cleaning accessories

Clean the glass turntable with washing-up liquid
or in a dishwasher.
Clean the roller ring by hand with a mild
cleansing agent.
Dry the roller ring well.
Replace the roller ring on the floor of the oven
compartment.
Clean the grill rack after every use using
washing-up liquid or in a dishwasher.

Neutralising unpleasant odours

Place a microwave-safe dish filled with water
and lemon juice in the microwave.
Heat the water and lemon juice for around five
minutes.
Remove the dish with water and lemon juice
from the microwave.
Wipe the oven compartment with a soft cloth.
