3.5.2 INDEPENDENT SYSTEM

When the characteristics of the tractor are such that they cannot
guarantee the correct working of the blower, it is necessary to install
a self-contained oleo-dynamic system.
INSTALLATION CHARACTERISTICS
- Oil supply: follow the data in the table in Fig. 318.

OPERATION DESCRIPTION

The multiplier joined to the tractor's power take-off, works a pump
that takes oil from the outside tank to the three-way regulator. Here,
indicated on the manometer, the pressure required for the motor
to work the blower is adjusted (Table 4). Furthermore, the system
is equipped with a safety valve that allows the blower to continue
to rotate from inertia without suffering breakage or damage, if the
circulation were to stop suddenly.
STARTING UP
ATTENTION:To verify the sense of spin of the taken one of
force of thetractor before grafting the multiplier.
Fig. 319-2) counter-clockwise spin: the group multiplier-
pump can be grafted therefore like supplied;
Fig. 319-1) hour spin: for a corrected operation it is neces-
sary to invert the spin of the pump (you see pamphlet
cod. G19502670).
With the engine off and the tractor immobilized, connect correctly
the quick-couplings.
Clean and grease the tractor power take-off. (1, Fig. 320).
Connect the multiplier (2) to the machinery power take-off as shown
in Figure 320.
Make sure it is correctly coupled, block the rotation of the multiplier
with the chains supplied (3). Check the multiplier
(RAPP. 1 : 3 = 540 rpm) ----- (RAPP. 1 : 2 = 1000 rpm)
Driving a vehicle with a 540 rpm propulsion, with a power
takeoff of 1000 rpm and an engine rpm correspondingly low
is not permitted. Danger of blower pump breakage. During
distribution do not let the power take-off rpm drop too low.
Check the multiplier oil level and top up if necessary (ESSO
SAE W80-90).
Start the tractor and run the system at idle for a few minutes,
bringing constant pressure to the entire circuit in order to avoid
instability of the blower. Bring the blower to the number of revs
corresponding to the type of product to be distributed (Table 4).
It is necessary to check that the number of revolutions indicated
on the equipment is respected. If the minimum rpm is not attained,
inaccuracy of the machine in the distribution can occur, as well as
clogging of the grain tubes. Maintain a constant pressure in the
system during distribution, otherwise uneven distribution may occur.
When starting up operation, with the oil cold, operate the
power take-off at minimum for several minutes, bringing the
entire system to a constant pressure level to avoid blower
instability.
When it is not intended to distribute product, but rather to use
only the equipment to which it is applied, disconnect the pump
and the multiplier from the rear power take-off and replace it
in the special attachment.
