Operating instructions

Warning - tire or rim damage danger!
Excessive pressure can e. g. result in cracks
(on the inside/outside) of the tyre. The rim
can be scratched or deformed.

Inner temperature of the tire must be at
least 15 °C (only in case of RFT/UHP).

Adjust pressure to the type of tyre.
Apply plastic protections on the types of
rim that need them.

Before demounting or mounting operations it is ex-
tremely important to collect all the rim and tyre data.
In this way it will be possible to know in advance the
mounting, the pressure and the required accesso-
ries!

Remove all the balancing weights on the rim.
Warning – limb injury danger!
During operation of the mobile arm, be
careful in order to avoid that the limbs are
not crushed between the tyre and the bead
breaker.
Do not insert limbs between the tyre and
the mobile arm.
Warning – damage risk for RFT or UHP
tyres!
Cracks in case of operation on cold tyre. Tyre
explosion in case of high speed.

Before mounting put the tyre in a temperate
room.

Demounting

1. Place the master roller on the tire shoulder and turn
the rim-chuck plate to lubricate the area between
tire bead and rim channel.
2. While turning, lubricate the area between the bead
and the drop center using a brush and tire bead
lubricant.
3. Use the master roller to push the tire far enough
down to allow the mounting head to be inserted
between rim and tire.

4. Put the lifting lever between the edge of the tire and
the rim, taking advantage of the space created by
the pressure of the main roller.
5. Lift the master roller off the tire.
6. Place the helper on the opposite side of the tire
(relative to the mounting head) and move the helper
downward so that the bead slips into the drop cen-
ter of the rim.
