Type Explanation
ERROR Joystick was operated
(#35) during power up. The
joystick must not be
operated during start up
since the Y-table has to
be stationary while a
reference position is
measured.
ERROR Motor rotation of less than
(#36) 1,000 RPM detected at
the start of cutting (D-60
only).
MESSAGE The Y-table stopped
(#37) moving during a cutting
operation.
MESSAGE The Discotom is stopped
(#100) and the cooling valve has
been turned to the
flushing position.
MESSAGE The cooling valve was not
(#101) in the cooling position
when the cutting
operation started.
ERROR The Y-table was unable to
(#102) find a reference position.
MESSAGE The relative stop position
(#103) entered is beyond the
remaining Y-table travel.
Action
Switch off and on at Main Switch (make
sure that the joystick is not touched during
power up).
If the error message is still displayed,
contact a Struers service technician.
Clear any obstruction away from the cut-off
wheel.
If the error message is still displayed, and
the cut-off wheel is actually turning, contact
a Struers service technician.
Clear any obstruction away from the Y-
table's runners.
If the error message is still displayed, and
the cut-off wheel is actually turning, contact
a Struers service technician.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Follow the on-screen instructions and restart
the cutting operation.
Switch unit off and on at Main Switch.
If the error message is still displayed,
contact a Struers service technician.
The Discotom can still be used in Manual
cutting mode.
Move the Y-table toward the front of the
machine until there is sufficient Y-table
travel for the cutting operation to be
performed.
