Type Explanation
ERROR Data communication with
(#20) the frequency inverter
failed (D-65 only).
The start button  was
MESSAGE
(#21) pressed, but none of the 3
motor contacts were
activated (D-60 only).
The cutting chamber
hood may not be fully
closed.
MESSAGE During cutting, motor load
exceeded its safe limit.
(#22)
ERROR A motor terminal failure
(#23) occurred. After pressing
the stop button , the
motor did not stop.
(D-60 only).
ERROR Frequency inverter failure
(#25) (D-65 only).
ERROR After pressing stop button
, the motor did not stop.
(#26)
ERROR During the movement of
(#27) Y-table, a position was
not found within a set
amount of time. The feed
motor module is most
likely defective.
Action
Switch off and on at Main Switch.
If the error message is still displayed,
contact a Struers service technician.
Check that the hood is closed properly.
If the error message is still displayed,
contact a Struers service technician.
Reduce feed speed or cutting force.
Check also that the sample is properly
secured as a sample that is not correctly
secured can trap the cut-off wheel with
enough force to stop it rotating.
