9.2.

POWER DELIVERY

As an enhanced patient safety feature, both the output voltage and current of the
Generator has been limited. Under normal circumstances (i.e. normal patient
impedances), the maximum output power of the Generator is 25 Watts. In the
event of unusually high impedance, the voltage limiting circuitry will limit
maximum power. In the event of abnormally low tissue impedance, the current
limiting circuitry will limit maximum power. Note that for most punctures, the
voltage or current limits will not be reached. Also, note that ONLY the maximum
power is affected. If the power setting is less than the maximum power available,
the Generator will deliver the set power value.
