11. Connecting the remote control to the boat

The remote control that comes with the boat is already paired on the same frequency as the boat. This ensures that
the two devices can communicate with each other. However, if you buy a new remote control or if your existing remote
control no longer communicates with the boat, you will need to pair the devices so that they are connected on the
same frequency.
With a small screwdriver, unscrew and remove all 15 of the screws around the perimeter of the boat.
Lift the top of the boat away from the base of the boat.
Place the base of the boat within 20 cm of the remote control.
Turn the remote control on by sliding the on/off button to the ON position.
Turn on the boat by pushing the on/off switch in the direction of the LED battery indicators. The LED indicators will
light up when the boat is on.
Press and hold the small black button on the circuit board for 2 to 3 seconds until the red LED starts to flash. The
devices have been successfully connected on the same frequency when the flashing red LED turns to a constant
green LED.
Put the top and bottom parts of the boat together and fix all the screws in place. Double check that the units are com-
municating with each other by turning on the remote control. Then move the throttle trigger switch up and down – you
should hear the motors turn on and the propellers will rotate.

12. Care and cleaning

Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause
damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Disconnect the charger from the mains before each cleaning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
• Regularly check that the props are not fouled and free of dirt. Clean as necessary.
