d) Sailing the boat

Before sailing the boat, familiarise yourself with the control functions to ensure that you can manage the boat safely.
The boat is controlled using the speed and throttle controls on the remote control.
Forwards/backwards movement

Once the remote control and boat are turned on, gently press the throttle trigger switch down to move forwards. Push
the throttle up to move backwards.

Steering

Turn the wheel backwards to turn right. Turn the wheel forwards to turn left.
If the steering is working in the opposite direction, press the steering mode switch to the left to return it to the normal
mode (NOR).
The boat can be sailed in low to moderate winds up to Beaufort scale 4.
e) Adjusting the steering
If the boat keeps turning to one side when you are just using the throttle, you can adjust the controls accordingly.
If the model turns to the left, turn the steering trim dial to the right.
If the boat turns to the right, turn the steering trim dial to the left.
When the boat drives in a straight line, turn the steering trim dial to '0'.
