2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
2.1) Setting
Place the pump on a fl at surface so as to rest the whole base on the ground.
This position will give the necessary stability during the operation.
The ambient working temperature must not exceed 50 C° (120° F).
The working environment must be free from corrosive chemicals, oils and greases.
Before tool operation ensure that the air pressure is between 6 and 8 bar (87 ÷ 115 psi):
absolutely do not use the pump if the air pressure exceeds 8 bar (115 psi).
2.2) Operation
(Ref. to Fig. 3 a-b-c)
Press the pedal (06) on "PUMP" side to commence the build up of pressure.
Continue pumping until completion of the operation (dies closing in case of compression
head; full cable cut in case of cutting head; etc).
Note: for crimping heads, it is recommended to continue pumping until the maximum pres-
sure valve is actived and a repetitive "click" is heard.
To release oil pressure in the pump circuit (and therefore reset the head or blade in the
rest position) depress pedal on "RELEASE" side. To halt the operation at any stage, or to
stop the pump and maintain the oil pressure, release pedal (06).
2.3) Storage
After the completion of the work, release the oil pressure and disconnect the air supply.
Coil the hose around the casing and cover the pump, to protect from dust. Store the pump
in a clean, dry enviroment.

- name of item
- type of pump
- pump serial number
4. RETURN TO Cembre FOR OVERHAUL
In the case of a breakdown contact our Area Agent who will advise you on the problem and
give you the necessary instructions on how to dispatch the pump to our nearest service
Centre; if possible, attach a copy of the Test Certifi cate supplied by Cembre together
with the pump or, if no other references are available, indicate the approximate purchase
date and the tool serial number.
