Programming the Clearray (Ultraviolet)

Programming the CLEARRAY System (U) or Corona Dis-
charge Ozone (O3) (where included)
Press and hold the Jets pump 1 (
at the same time for 3 seconds to enter the sanitizing system
program. The screen will display one of the two menus below:

If the LED screen is displaying "U" then pressing the Jets pump
1 will change the sanitizing system from "U" to "O3" and exit
the programming menu. If the LED screen is displaying "O3"
then pressing the Jets pump 1 will change the sanitizing sys-
tem from "O3" to "U" and exit the programming menu.
Note: For the O3 option the "=" disables the duration count-
down timer.
If you do not wish to change the option do not press any but-
tons and after 10 seconds the display will return to the main
menu.
Note: If the CLEARRAY System has been selected, when the time
allotted has expired (365 days) the display screen will flash be-
tween the water temperature and "blb". At this time the UV lamp
bulb must be replaced, the quartz tube must be cleaned and the
duration countdown timer needs to be reset.
Resetting the duration countdown timer (CLEARRAY™ Sys-
tem only)
Once the duration countdown timer for the CLEARRAY System
has reached zero, you will need to reset it, replace the UV
lamp bulb and clean the quartz tube.
To reset the duration countdown timer:

Press and hold Jets pump 1 (
time for 3 seconds.
Press the Warmer ( ) button until the display shows "0".
If the timer has reached "0", pressing the Jets pump 1 (
button will reset the timer to 365 days. If the timer is not at
"0" pressing the Jets pump 1 button will not reset it.
Note: If the spa power is interrupted, the duration count-
down timer is not affected. The number of days remaining is
stored in the memory and will continue to countdown once
power is regained.
If the duration countdown timer is not at "0" and you need to
reset it:
A. Press and hold the Jets pump 1 and Cooler buttons at the
same time for 3 seconds.
B. Press the Warmer button to scroll to "U".

C. Press the Jets pump 1 button to switch from "U" to "O3".
D. Press and hold the Jets pump 1 and Cooler buttons at the
same time for 3 seconds.
E. Press the Warmer button to scroll to "O3".
F. Press the Jets pump 1 button to switch from "O3" to "U". The
timer has been reset to 365 days.

Spa maintenance

Proper and regular maintenance of your spa will help it retain its
beauty and performance.
Information regarding spa cleaning and maintenance and

guide provided with the product.
I Cleaning the filter (models J-210-J-235-J-245-J-275)
®
The Jacuzzi Premium spa is equipped with a basket and a
high-performance filter cartridge, located in the compart-
ment on the inner wall of the spa.
Impurities are filtered by the pump which draws water into the
basket and filter cartridge which, for best performance, must
be cleaned about once a month, depending on frequency of
use of the spa. For this purpose, proceed as follows:
A. Turn off power to spa.
B. Remove the cover, unscrew the cartridge and extract it.
C. Rinse the impurities out of the folds in the filter using pres-
surised water. Work from the top down. Repeat until all folds
are clean.

J-210 models include filters on their footwell suction covers
(shown right) that prevent debris from entering the pump
when operating. These filters must remain in place to protect
) the components from debris entrapment/damage. They

should be cleaned every 2 months, or when weak pump per-
formance is observed.

Draining and refilling

About every 3 months, you will want to replace the water in
the spa. Frequency of water replacement depends on fre-
quency of use, care taken in maintaining water quality, etc.
You will know it is time for a change when you cannot control
suds and/or you can no longer see the normal sparkle to the
water, even though the key water balance measurements are
all within the proper parameters.
