cleaning the appliance
1. Do not touch the grill as long as it is still hot -
danger of burns!
2. allow the appliance to cool before
cleaning it.
3. Before cleaning, always turn off the appliance
and unplug it from the power supply.
4. Then unplug the thermostat plug from the
outlet on the appliance.
5. Do not immerse the appliance and power
cord in water or other liquids.
6. Wipe off the grill housing with a damp
cloth and a little dishwashing detergent
as needed. Do not use any abrasive scou-
ring agents, steel wool, metal objects, hot
cleaning agents or disinfectants, since they
can damage the appliance.
7. If necessary, wipe off the thermostat plug
with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Never
immerse the thermostat plug in water.
8. The grease drip pan should be allowed to
cool completely before removing it for emp-
tying.
9. The grease drip pan can be cleaned in warm
water with a little dishwashing detergent
added.
15. Frozen foods should be completely thawed
before grilling.
16. Do not completely cover the grill plate with
aluminum foil or other objects that could
cause the appliance to overheat. Of course,
you can use conventional aluminum grill
trays, and you can also grill food wrapped in
aluminum foil, such as potatoes.
