8.7.1 Chopping and blending food

1. Add the ingredients to the blender jug (4).
2. Use the rotary switch (9) to select the speed you want. If necessary, start with a low speed and
increase as required to obtain the consistency you want.
3. To stop blending, move the rotary switch (9) to the OFF position.

8.7.2 Preparing smoothies and milkshakes

1. Add the ingredients to the blender jug (4).
2. Switch the table-top blender on. To do this, switch the rotary switch (9) to the ON position.
3. Press the smoothie button (10). The motor starts rotating.
4. To finish the blending process, press the smoothie button (10) again. Otherwise after 1 minute the
blender switches off automatically. When you have finished, move the rotary switch (9) to the OFF
position.

8.7.3 Crushing ice cubes

To crush ice, you should fill the blender jug (4) with a maximum of 200 g of ice cubes.
Otherwise the ice will not be perfectly crushed.
1. Add the ice cubes to the blender jug (4).
2. Switch the table-top blender on. To do this, switch the rotary switch (9) to the ON position.
3. Press the crushed ice button (11). The motor starts rotating. The blender works in intervals to crush the
ice.
4. To finish the process, press the crushed ice button (11) again. Otherwise after 1 minute and 40
seconds the blender switches off automatically. When you have finished, move the rotary switch (9) to
the OFF position.

8.7.4 Hard ingredients

1. Add the ingredients to the blender jug (4).
2. Switch the table-top blender on. To do this, switch the rotary switch (9) to the ON position.
3. Hold the pulse button (12) down. The motor starts rotating.
Where possible, work with a series of short bursts. This is better for chopping hard
ingredients.
4. To finish the process, release the pulse button (12). When you have finished, move the rotary switch
(9) to the OFF position.
