Loose screws can lead to part
damage or malfunction.
→ Tighten all screws by hand and
check for tightness.
Information!
Always control the air and materi-
al supply externally.
The "nozzle head with material
circulation" version is suitable for
use on a quick-change coupling.
The material connection for the
material circulation [1-10] of the
"nozzle head with optional mate-
rial circulation" version is on the
opposite side (see Chap. 8.3).
The automatic gun can either be
secured to a painting system with
a mounting pin or mounted on a
quick-change coupling [4-3] (Art.
No. 217521 or optionally Art. No.
188573). Next, connect the material
and air supply.
The connection elements for mate-
rial and air supply are not included

in the scope of delivery and can be
ordered as required.
8.1. Using the locating hole
for the mounting pin
A mounting pin is not included in
the scope of delivery and must be
ordered by the customer.
■ Slide the automatic gun with locating
hole (13 mm in diameter) onto the
mounting pin [3-2] of the painting
system and use groove to secure in
correct position.
■ Connect control air to control air con-
nection [1-17] on automatic gun.
■ Connect flat fan air to flat fan air con-
nection (B) [1-12] on automatic gun.
■ Connect round fan air to round fan air
connection (R) [1-13] on automatic
gun.
■ Insert material connection gasket
[3-3].
■ Connect material supply to material
connection [1-16] on automatic gun
(optional material inlet to material
connection inlet [1-14] and material
return to material connection return
[1-15]).
8.2. Installation on quick-
change coupling
■ Screw spacers [4-1] and adapter [4-
2] into nozzle head and gun body.
■ Mount automatic gun on quick-
change coupling [4-3].
■ Insert fastening bolt [4-4] through
quick-change coupling and screw into
adapter.
■ Fasten quick-change coupling to
fastening unit on painting system.
■ Connect control air to quick-change
coupling.
■ Connect flat fan air and round fan air
