Eliminating minor faults by yourself
Before you call customer service,
please check whether you can
eliminate the fault by yourself
based on the following information.
A technician who is called out for
consultation purposes will charge
the customer, even if the appliance
is still under guarantee.
q Despite the door being closed, the
acoustic warning signal is emitted
constantly.
Check whether the technician has
fitted all three white caps (Fig. w/18)
after attaching the door panels.
q When button
see chapter Clean dust filter.
q When the displays Fig. v/8
and Fig. v/9 show the following
messages:
FIL: Clean the dust filter", see
chapter Clean the dust filter".
If the lighting does not work
The following causes are possible:
q Power failure has occurred or
a mains fuse has tripped.

q Bulbs are broken.
q The door was open too long (light
automatically switches OFF after
approx. 1 min.). After closing and
opening the door again, the bulbs
will switch ON again.
q The right or left side of the appliance
has switched OFF.
Replace bulbs
Replace the bulb in the wine storage
compartment or the tasting
compartment above and below
(Fig. u/10)
q Pull out the mains plug
q Replacing the bulb (Fig. V, W)
(Do NOT use a bulb with a higher
wattage.)
- Bulb type: Halogen Niedervolt
incandescent bulb
- Voltage: 12 volts
- Wattage: 5 Watts
- Frequency: 50 Hertz
- Lampholder: G4
q Re insert the mains plug
