Information on operating noises
On account of its many functions,
the appliance features ventilators,
compressors, switches and solenoid
valves which may be more or less
audible depending on the function.
Quite normal noises
q The humming noise is emitted by the
motor (e.g. compressors, ventilators).
For example, when the compressors
switch ON, the noise may briefly
increase in volume.
q The bubbling, gurgling or whirring
noises are emitted by the refrigerant
as it flows through the tubing.
q The clicking noise can always be
heard when the switches and
solenoid valves switch ON/OFF.
q The ventilators in the No Frost
system cause a gentle murmuring
noise.
Measures to prevent
noises
q The appliance is not standing
level
Please adjust the appliance with
a spirit level. (See installation
manual).
q The appliance is not free standing
(only upright model)
Please move the appliance away
from kitchen units or other
appliances.
q Pull out bottle racks are shaking
or jammed
Please check the removable
components and, if required,
refit them.
q Bottles are touching each other
Please move the bottles away from
each other.
