Eliminating minor faults yourself
Before you call customer service:
Please check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself
based on the following information.
Fault
Light does not function
Light does not function The fluorescent tube is defective.
Floor of the refrigerator
compartment is wet.
The refrigerating unit
is switching on more
frequently and for
longer.
Refrigerator has no
cooling capacity.

Possible cause
The condensation drainage pipe is blocked.
Appliance door opened frequently.
The ventilation openings have been covered.
Appliance has switched off.
Power failure; the fuse has been switched off;
the mains plug has not been inserted properly.
Customer service will charge you for advice, even if the
appliance is still under guarantee!
Remedial action
Replace fluorescent tube
1. Pull out the mains plug or
disconnect the fuse.
2. Remove fluorescent tube cover
with a screwdriver.
3. Remove fluorescent tube by
gently rotating it. Replace
fluorescent tube (11 W).
4. Re attach fluorescent tube
cover, insert mains plug or
switch on fuse, press main
switch.
Clean the condensation channel
and outlet
(See Cleaning the appliance")
Do not open the door
unnecessarily.
Remove obstacles.
Press the On/Off button.
Check whether the power is on,
check the fuses.
