• Place the measuring wheel (13) on the edge of the object
that you want to measure and roll the wheel evenly in a
straight line to the end of the measured length (ensuring
that the wheel does not slip out of place).
• Press the measuring wheel button (1) to end the
measurement. The measuring wheel icon will disappear
from the LCD display (8) and the measurement will
be frozen on the display. This completes the length
measurement. You can also end the measurement by
pressing the MEAS button (4).
• To measure an area, you also need to measure an
additional length at right angles to the first line.
• Press the measuring button (1) again to start measuring
the second length with the measuring wheel. The
measuring wheel icon will appear in the upper-left corner
of the LCD display (8).
• Roll the measuring wheel (13) over the next length
and press the measuring wheel button (1) to end the
measurement. The second measurement will be frozen
on the display.
• To measure a volume, you need to measure a third length
at right angles to the previous two lines.
• Measure the third length in the same way as described
above. The measurements are displayed individually on
the LCD display.
• The surface/volume will be automatically calculated and
shown on the display.
