• Replace the batteries or recharge the rechargeable
batteries as soon as the battery status display (F) shows
an empty battery.
• To charge the batteries, pull out the cap (17) on the
charging port on the bottom of the device and rotate the
device by 180°.
• Connect the product to a USB power supply or a computer
using the cable provided. A short message will appear
on the LCD display (8) to remind you that conventional
batteries must not be recharged. The batteries will then
start to charge.
• If the device is switched off, a large battery icon will
appear in the middle of the LCD display (8). When the
battery icon is full and constant green, this indicates that
the batteries are fully charged.
• If necessary, press any key on the measuring device to
display the charging icon.
• If the device is switched on, the battery status symbol (F)
will indicate that the batteries are charging.
• When the battery status symbol (F) is full and constant
green, this indicates that the batteries are fully charged.
• Disconnect the cable from the product and the USB power
supply as soon as the batteries are fully charged.
• Rotate the cap (17) downwards by 180° and close the
charging port by pressing the cap (17) inwards.
The protection rating only applies when the cap
(17) forms a tight seal.
