9. Inserting the batteries

The product comes with 3 rechargeable batteries.
It can also be powered with conventional batteries
Never mix rechargeable batteries with
conventional batteries.
Only use NiMH rechargeable batteries or alkaline
batteries.
• Slide the battery compartment lock in the direction of the
arrow as far as it will go.
• Remove the battery compartment cover (16). Place your
fingernail in the tab on the front edge and lift the cover off
the battery compartment.
Caution! Take care not to break your fingernails.
If you have difficulties removing the battery
compartment cover, use a tool (e.g. slotted
screwdriver) and carefully lift it off.
• Insert the 3 rechargeable batteries (included) or 3 AAA
batteries in the correct polarity. Pay attention to the
polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
