The laser beam will be emitted from the laser output (11) on
the side of the device.
Do not cover the laser output with your hands.

16. Using the measuring wheel

In addition to using the laser for measuring lengths, you can
also use the measuring wheel to take simple length, area and
volume measurements. Other measuring functions require
the laser. Follow the steps below to take measurements with
the measuring wheel.
• Select one of the three possible measuring modes. For
detailed instructions, refer to the corresponding section in
"Measuring functions".
• Press the measuring wheel button (1) to start the
measurement of the first length component. The
measuring wheel icon will appear in the upper-left corner
of the LCD display (8) and will move in a rotating motion
button (2) for approximately 1
