a) Length measurements

• By default, the length measurement function is
automatically enabled when the measuring device is
switched on.
If another measuring function was used, press the
function (
• Briefly press the MEAS (4) button to enable the laser.
• Point the laser point at the target at a right angle and try to
hold the device as still as possible If necessary, place it on
a firm surface or use a tripod.
• Press the MEAS (4) button. After a short time, the device
will beep and the measurement will appear on the LCD
display (8). The measurement will be spoken if voice
notifications are enabled.

b) Continuous length measurements

• Hold down the MEAS button (4) for approximately one
second to switch to the continuous measurement function.
• The laser will be enabled. The distance will now be
measured continuously. You can move the measuring
device to cover longer distances. The current
measurements will appear on the display.
• Press the MEAS button (4) to end the continuous length
measurements. The minimum (min) and maximum (max)
recorded measurements for the current measuring
sequence will be displayed on the LCD display (8). If
voice notifications are enabled, measurements and errors
will be spoken aloud at the end of the continuous length
measurement sequence.
