• This function is automatically disabled after 5 minutes of
inactivity.

c) Surface area measurements

• Press the
functions menu.
• Press the + (9) or - button (12) to select the surface
area measurement mode (
with the MEAS button (4).
• Measure the lengths of each side (length [1], width [2])
of the surface by aligning the measuring device at right
angles. Refer to the measuring sequence and the device
orientation indicated by the digits in the diagram above.
• The measured values and the measurement number (A)
will appear on the display. The device automatically
multiplies the measured values and displays the surface
area.
