• Press the
functions menu.
• Press the + (9) or - button (12) to select the automatic
level calculation mode ( ) and confirm your selection with
the MEAS button (4).
• Measure the length to a high point.
• The distance marked with L in the horizontal plane will be
automatically calculated and displayed in the results line
(at the bottom of the display).

h) Automatic height calculation

This measuring function automatically determines the height
of an object from two measured points. The measuring
device automatically uses the horizontal plane as the
reference plane. The measured height (H) is indicated in
green on the LCD display (8).
