j) Trapezium measurement 1

This measuring function automatically determines the
distance between two points with three measured lengths,
e.g. the length under a sloped roof. The measured length (L)
is indicated in green on the LCD display (8).
• Press the
functions menu.
• Press the + (9) or - button (12) to select trapezium
measurement 1 mode ( ) and confirm your selection with
the MEAS button (4).
• Measure the three necessary lengths between the
zero point and the reference end points 1 + 2. Move
the measuring device to the reference end point 2 and
measure the third length at right angles to reference end
point 3. Refer to the measuring sequence and the device
orientation indicated by the digits in the diagram above.
The length is calculated automatically and will appear in
the bottom row of the display.

k) Trapezium measurement 2

This measuring function automatically determines the length
of an object with two measured points. The measured length
(L) is indicated in green at the bottom of the LCD display (8).
• Press the
functions menu.
• Press the + (9) or - button (12) to select trapezium
measurement 2 mode (
with the MEAS button (4).
