2.5 V for an Up/Down torch, and
0 V for a standard welding torch.
CAUTION! Risk of injury from welding wire emerging at speed. The cold-wire po-
tentiometer test should only be carried out when there is no wire in the welding
torch.
CAUTION! Risk of injury from mechanically powered parts. When carrying out
tests ensure all covers on the welding torch are closed.
