The appliance is fitted with the controls for use of its
main functions.
A)Heating element control knob: for turning the
heating elements off and on and setting their level.

SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON AND OFF
Lighting
Important
Before use, perform a cooking cycle with-
out food at a temperature between 150-
160°C.
1 - Turn on the appliance's circuit breaker to con-
nect it to the electrical mains.
2 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 1) to turn on
the electricity supply.
The mains light (B) comes on.
3 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 2) to the tem-
perature required to turn on the heating ele-
ments.
The temperature light (C) comes on to indicate
that the oil is not at the working temperature.
The light goes out when the temperature is
reached.
Turning off
1 - Turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise (pos. 3) to turn
off the heating elements.
2 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 4) to turn off
the electricity supply.
The mains light (B) goes out.
3 - Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to dis-
connect it from the electrical mains.

B)Temperature light: comes on to warn that the oil
is not yet at the preset temperature. The light
goes out when the temperature is reached.
C)Mains light: comes on to indicate that the elec-
tricity supply is on.
