2. Remove palmar fairing (Fig. 38).
3. Access thumb screw from medial to lateral direction (Fig. 39).
4. Remove thumb.
Replace the thumb following the steps in reverse. When replacing the palmar fairing care should be taken to avoid
pinching wires.
CLEANING
Cleaning Instructions
The i-Limb hand covering, electrode surface and magnetic charger port can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth and
mild soap.
Clean the electrode surface regularly.
Clean the cover with isopropyl alcohol once a week to help with disinfection.
NOTE: Do not submerge the i-Limb hand, cover, electrode surface or magnetic charger port in water. Do not use
any strong chemicals.
