The OP2 Knee is a polycentric knee joint with a sturdy aluminium frame construction. It is suitable for users in
Mobility classes 2 and 3 and is approved up to a body weight of 125 kg.
The OP2 Knee is for users with normal demands on walking (steady, low walking speed) and an increased safety
requirement.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

The OP2 Knee is designed for patients with transfemoral amputation.

ADJUSTMENT
The OP2 Knee is delivered ready for use in the basic position ex works.
Start testing any adjustment of the joint slowly with the user during the dynamic walking test and check whether
the basic position suits the needs of your user. If it does not proceed in the manner described below.
Safeguarding the stand phase
The axial arrangement can be altered with the 5 mm Allen screw (29) (Fig. 1). The joint has a safe setting on
delivery.
• Turn the 5 mm Allen screw (29) clockwise for a more dynamic setting.
• Turn the 5 mm Allen screw (29) anti-clockwise for a safer setting.
Caution: Carry out all adjustments in small steps and check the results (Fig. 2-4)!
