terminals.

Factory-Installed Battery Removal
and Installation
Remove Factory-Installed Battery
(Figure 17)
1. Lower deck to the lowest cutting height.
2. Tip seat forward. See Tipping Seat
Forward on page 21.
3. Disconnect negative (–) cable first, then
positive (+) cable.
NOTICE: Do not cut cable tie securing
positive cable to battery hold-down bracket
unless installing U1 battery.
