Cleaning and care

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Disconnect the plug 2 from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance .
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it . Risk of burns!
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Never immerse the base 4 in water for cleaning! Otherwise, the appli-
ance could be irreparably damaged!
■ Wipe the cooking plate 1 and base 4 with a moist cloth . Add a little mild
detergent on the cloth to remove stubborn dirt .
■ Clean the batter spreader 8 and the crêpe spatula 9 in water with a little
washing up liquid . Rinse them off with clear water and then dry the batter
spreader 8 and the crêpe spatula 9 with a tea towel .
NOTE
► If you clean them in the dishwasher, please ensure that the batter spreader 8
and the crêpe spatula 9 cannot become jammed between other objects .
This could lead to them becoming deformed! If possible, place the batter
spreader 8 and the crêpe spatula 9 in the top basket of the dishwasher .

Storage

■ Do not put the appliance away until it has cooled down and been cleaned .
■ Wind the cable 2 around the cable retainer 7 and fasten the power plug
with the cable clip .
■ Store the appliance in a clean and dry location .

Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids! Otherwise
there is a risk of an electric shock .
You can also wash the cooking plate 1, the batter spreader 8 and
the crêpe spatula 9 in the dishwasher .
