Remove the handpiece from its receptacle.
The POLYLUX light instrument dialog appears on the
display.
Switch on the POLYLUX light with the foot
switch.
With the two
– and + an exposure time of up to max. 60s can be pre-
selected.
This is indicated in seconds in the center of the display.
From the assistant panel the assistant also has access
to the POLYLUX light of the dentist via the instrument
dialog.
While the POLYLUX- light is on, a short acoustic signal
sounds every 20 seconds.
The POLYLUX light can be switched OFF / ON with the
handpiece removed at any time also by actuating the
foot control on the patient chair in any direction (if prese-
lected, see page page 58).
After the time has elapsed, the light goes out automati-
cally and the cooling fan runs on for some time.
Switching soft start ON / OFF
Individually programmable for each user.

NOTE
With soft start, the output power is started at 50% and in-
creased to 100% in 10% steps within 8 seconds.
