12.4 Instrument dialog: SIROTOM
The SIROTOM instrument dialog appears when the
electrosurgical handpiece has been removed from its
receptacle.
The functions of the displayed keys are identical with
those in the other instrument dialogs.
With the lower keys – and + the intensity can be prese-
lected from 1 t 100.
With the upper keys – and + the type of current COAG
can be preselected from 0 to 4.
(Always press the gray keys!).
Always select COAG 0 for electrotomy!
For coagulation select a modulated type of current from
COAG 1 to 4 for the depth of crust based on experience.

NOTE
The volume of the operating sound can be adjusted by
your service engineer.
Programming of functions
For the electrosurgical handpiece, different functions
can be programmed for any user (A, B or C) in the three
function levels E1, E2 and E3:
• Function level E1, E2 or E3 for the handpiece in use.
• Type of current:
Cutting current 0
Coagulation current 1–4
• Intensity.
Example:
Cutting current 0
Intensity 80%
Actuate the programming key until three successive
acoustic signals sound. Then put the handpiece back in
its receptacle.
Programming is completed now.
