Close the fill cylinder with the cylinder cover and turn it into the Palajet.
Lock the flask in position with the flask holder knob. After pulling the pressure module as far as it will go, the switch is reversed
while the fill cylinder is inserted and the denture acrylic is injected with help of the pressure plunger.
As soon as material is pressed out of the ventilation channel, close the vent seal.
This ensures that the pressure is built up in the flask.
Leave the flask in the Palajet under pressure for 5 minutes (switch up).
Set the timer to 5 minutes.

From the start of the mixing process the waiting period before injection at 23°C (73°F) is 20 minutes.
Waiting times are dependent on the room temperature and the mixed volume.

Polymerising

For the polymerisation of the material the flask must be removed from the injection apparatus. Place the switch in the starting
position (down); the pressure plunger retracts from the injection cylinder. Once it is completely down, push the pressure module
to the rear as far as it will go.
After unscrewing the fill cylinder the flask can be removed, placed on the flask filling basket and then inserted into the
Palamat
elite polymerisation unit. Disassemble the filling cylinder immediately and clean it. Acrylic residues can be removed

much more easily from the filling cylinder and cover inserts after they have completely cured.

The time required for polymerisation is 30 min at 55°C (131°F) with a pressure of 2 bar in Palamat

Rapid polymerisation takes 20 min at 100°C (212°F).
Kulzer water-bath polymerisation takes approx. 2.5 h at 70°C – 100°C (158°F – 212°F).
Slow polymerisation takes 10 h at 90°C (194°F).
For more detailed information concerning the polymerisation please see instruction for use of acrylic curing material.

Deflasking

After polymerisation, the flask is removed together with the flask filling basket from the Palamat
Prior to deflasking the denture allow the flask to cool to room temperature, then deflask the denture.
Remove the plaster from the flask halves with a plastic hammer.
NOTE
Do not use a metal hammer! Metal tools will deform the flask; this can result in inaccurate fitting.
NOTE
The final occlusion must be checked prior to removing the denture from the model!

Preparation for following processes

Prepare flask before reusing it and if necessary lubricate with Vaseline. Clean the sealing surfaces as well as the injection and
ventilation channel from plaster and plastic remains in order to avoid raising the bite. Turn back the vent seal and remove any
acrylic remains.
The fill cylinder and cover cartridge are constructed for multiple use (approximately 5 times).
NOTE
For better sealing and a safe pressure application a new sealing disk must be used for each injection procedure!
As noted above, acrylic residues can be removed from the filling cylinder and cover inserts much more easily after they have
completely cured.
NOTE
Take care that the cartridges are not damaged!
