13 CE conformity
This product meets the requirements of the 93/42/EWG guidelines for medical products. This
product has been classified as a class I product according to the classification criteria outlined
in appendix IX of the guidelines. The declaration of conformity was therefore created by Ottobock
with sole responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.

14.1 Operating states/error signals
Battery charge level
An intelligent „battery manager" alerts the patient to low voltage conditions: The System Electric
Hand will become slower and the gripping force will decrease. At the same time, the battery is
protected against harmful total discharge.
Always keep a charged back-up battery available as a replacement.

l'appareillage prothétique des membres inférieurs.
Ce produit est exclusivement conçu pour l'appareillage d'un seul patient. Le fabricant interdit
toute utilisation du produit sur une tierce personne.
1.1 Qualification
Seul le personnel spécialisé formé à cet effet par Ottobock est autorisé à appareiller un patient
avec le produit.
