Okay, so what did I just buy?
First of all, thank you for choosing the Kemper Profiler, or "Profiler" for short. We have no doubt that once you
realize everything it can do, you will be as thrilled with it as we are. In our quest to provide a complete solution
for your guitar-playing needs, we wanted our users to be able to go far beyond a predefined set of digital amp
models. In doing so, Kemper have created the first digital guitar amp that allows you to make "Profiles" of your
own guitar amps. You can also load Profiles of other guitarists' amplifiers - and not just a simulation, but their ex-
act digital sound!

We hope you will find operating the Profiler straightforward, but if you need more information please check out
our manuals. We call this guide "The Basics" because it will give you all the information you need to get started
and find your own tone. We recommend that you read through this with your guitar and Profiler right in front
of you - this way you can try out everything as soon as you learn it. The Profiling Guide will help you become an
expert in creating your own Amp Profiles, and is a must read if you want to add your own amps and guitar rigs.
Lastly, check out the Reference Manual for an explanation of every single parameter, and a deeper insight into
many of the features. It does not repeat the information contained here, in The Basics, so both documents should
be considered essential reading. The Profiling Guide and Reference Manual are both available as PDF from our
website, and will be updated regularly.
