Both the RETURN and the ALTERNATIVE IN can also be used as auxiliary inputs. You could, for instance, use this
feature to mix in music from your mp3 player and play along. You will find the corresponding mix controls in the
Output/Master Section.

Please note that the Profiler's XLR input does not provide phantom power.

Power

Connect this to your wall outlet using the supplied power cable. The internal, universal power supply accepts
100 V - 240 V AC via the usual IEC inlet.

USB

Use the USB type A port to connect USB sticks for backups and firmware updates. Rack and PowerRack users
find this port on the front panel. See "Updates, backup and sharing sounds" in the Reference Manual for details.
The type B port is used to connect to the Rig Manager application on your PC or Mac.

Network

Here, you can plug in a Kemper Profiler Remote.

Pedals and Switches

You can connect a variety of pedals and switches to control several functions. Pedal #2 is the Volume Pedal by
default. When you connect a foot switch, use the parameters in the System menu to assign it to a variety of func-
tions. Pedal #1 defaults to the control of wah type effects.
